The Role

We’re hiring a Landscape Maintenance Operations Manager to lead and oversee our maintenance division.
This is a high-responsibility leadership role managing crew leaders, routes, scheduling, quality control, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. You will serve as the bridge between field execution and executive leadership — ensuring profitable, well-run, and professionally delivered maintenance services.
You must be comfortable leading people, managing systems, holding standards, and making
real-time decisions in a seasonal, weather-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Division Leadership
● Oversee all landscape maintenance crews and crew leaders
● Build, train, and coach high-performing field teams
● Conduct performance reviews and accountability conversations
● Maintain strong morale and professional standards across crews
Route & Workflow Management
● Design and optimize maintenance routes for efficiency and profitability
● Manage scheduling based on seasonality, weather, and workload
● Monitor labor hours vs. budgeted targets
● Adjust staffing and deployment as needed
Quality Control
● Conduct routine property inspections
● Ensure TerraVita standards are consistently met
● Resolve quality issues proactively
● Support client retention through visible leadership presence
Financial & Performance Oversight
● Monitor KPIs (labor %, route profitability, callbacks, retention rates)
● Work with leadership on forecasting and seasonal planning
● Identify upsell opportunities and service enhancements
● Manage materials and equipment budgets
Safety & Compliance
● Enforce PPE and safety protocols
● Oversee training related to equipment and site safety
● Ensure compliance with pesticide licensing and irrigation regulations (as applicable)
● Maintain documentation for incidents and corrective actions
Client & Cross-Department Coordination
● Collaborate with Sales, Irrigation, and Design-Build teams
● Handle escalated client concerns professionally
● Support account growth through strong operational delivery

What We’re Looking For

● 5+ years landscape maintenance experience
● 2+ years in a leadership or management role
● Strong knowledge of plant care, pruning, irrigation basics, and seasonal cycles
● Proven ability to manage teams and hold performance standards
● Experience managing budgets and labor metrics
● Clear communicator who leads calmly under pressure
● Systems-oriented and organized
● Valid driver’s license required
Preferred:
● Idaho pesticide applicator license
● Irrigation/backflow familiarity
● Experience managing multiple crews
● Use of Aspire CRM systems

Schedule & Pay

● Salary: $65,000–$85,000 DOE
● Full-time, year-round leadership role
● Seasonal intensity with peak operational months
● Occasional early mornings during peak season
